TOGETHER TOWARD DESTRUCTION...X !
First Press Poster Release

"Toward Destruction" Live Tour  It happened in January 1992,when time of 3 days, more exactly on 5th,6th,and 7th of Jan it was held a Live Event called "Toward Destruction" at Tokyo Dome (as Toshi used to say part joke part serious, Tokyo Dome is "the living room of X Japan" .
He said that referring to the countless shows ever held there by X Japan) . This is the avertisment poster of that tour...as you can see, a new album is presented as being released on Jan 12th same year 1992...
are you guessing about which single I'm talking about ?...anyway :) ...
This is the the second poster promoting "Toward Destruction tour" from January 92, and was offered as a Special Bonus at the entry of the Tokyo Dome event to all participants ...
anyway it was later re-sold on the websites accredited to distribute goods bearing the logo X Japan, because this poster has gained immense sentimental value while being the last group poster that is displaying TAIJI as bassist of the band.
As you know in the early 90s (93' actually ), TAIJI, this bass that made Japanese feel proud to have such a talented artist was kicked out of the band .
(as Toshi himself mentioned in multiple articles and interviews TAIJI had a huge potential and talent his skill was without a precedent in the Japanese Rock, to that extent, he would always correct and push harder toward perfection his band colleagues ) ...
this beautiful crazy of the Rock music had committed an unforgivable mistake toward the band, but especially toward Yoshiki, and even worse...toward, himself ... so that, Yoshiki, the X Japan co-founder of the band, the man behind the logo X ... had a very difficult decision to take ... to tear apart X , or...TO FIRE TAIJI ...
Heart-broken, hampered by doubts and anger mixed with sorrow, Yoshiki ... choose X in TAIJI's disadvantage ... After the concert where TAIJI was last time presented onstage as the bassist of X...
the two of them (Yoshiki and TAIJI ) parted in tears, leaving each other on separate ways ... if you have the curiosity to search on youtube ... you will notice that neither of them is feeling easy living with that decission...
but X is more important than everyone and everything, much more important...the legend has to continue ... Yoshiki never revealed why TAIJI was fired, just to keep unaltered in the fans memory the image of this titan of Japanese Rock music .
The truth is somewhere in Yoshiki's soul, and it still produces him pain ... in the documentary We Are X, I noticed sadness when he try to express those feelings inside him regarding TAIJI's firing . It felt like, Yoshiki kept trying to choose describing it with words that hurt him less ...
Thank you for taking so much interest in reading HIDE's blog :) , I am happy every time you comeback to read more :) it motivates me to show you another, and another beautiful dream...X!
