FILM GIG movie's poster release

1993 was a challenging year in the history of X , GIG film had a big impact over the fans who were still mesmerized/shocked of TAIJI's sudden disappearance from band's performances,
it was also the year when someone new (but who was never a stranger to X ) was introduced as the new member...HEATH...he was nearly 21 years old when was called by HIDE Nisan to come for a chat at the production studio (HIDE's) ,
the chat would soon transform in a audition/rehearsal...and HEATH under HIDE nisan's guidance and fully consent of all the other members become the new X star. I can only imagine what that meant for the young HEATH whom was airing big with other band but whatever potential had,
it was good enough for X since HIDE was impressed enough to vouch for him. HIDE and HEATH never hated each other, such thing it did not happen!! HIDE was a kind of elder brother helping young HEATH to "grow" , musically talking, obviously .
This it was the 1st poster of X , featuring HEATH as full 5th member of the band and it was only available limited edition, as special bonus for the X Official FC members, trough special mail order only.
Because is a rare item all posters have a tractable serial No which ensures the genuine origin for each and single one of them , however that wasn't the only thing happening that year.
1993 as I said before was full of surprises for X as band, clothing trend and musical stile...
it was normal to be at list a slide change since HEATH brought with him new concepts and interpretation techniques in X's music. Do not get me wrong but...HEATH DIDN'T REPLACED TAIJI OR TOOK HIS PLACE IN X, HEATH simply brought a new energy wave and enhanced the music of the band...
TAIJI will always be "TAIJI OF X" and NO ONE could/would ever TAKE HIS PLACE/REPLACE HIM, even now days after separation, after death...TAIJI is still ETERNAL MEMBER OF X, remembered and honored along with HIDE Nisan forever more .
This poster is as well the 1st one in many years when the band's motto "Psychedelic Violence X Crime Of Visual Shock" is exchanged with another one, " Sequential Visual Assault" ...
damn why does everything at old X era need to sound so aggressive ? like this new motto for example it sounds like...Visual Rape/abuse ???...yet WE LOVE IT ...
so bring it on guys...BRING IT
ON !!! If you enjoy reading, I expect you'll be back for more :) , and I will be delighted to provide that for you :) . Thanx for remembering HIDE Niisan and being interested in X Japan :) , I'll wait for your return :) !

TOGETHER TOWARD DESTRUCTION...X !
First Press Poster Release

"Toward Destruction" Live Tour  It happened in January 1992,when time of 3 days, more exactly on 5th,6th,and 7th of Jan it was held a Live Event called "Toward Destruction" at Tokyo Dome (as Toshi used to say part joke part serious, Tokyo Dome is "the living room of X Japan" .
He said that referring to the countless shows ever held there by X Japan) . This is the avertisment poster of that tour...as you can see, a new album is presented as being released on Jan 12th same year 1992...
are you guessing about which single I'm talking about ?...anyway :) ...
This is the the second poster promoting "Toward Destruction tour" from January 92, and was offered as a Special Bonus at the entry of the Tokyo Dome event to all participants ...
anyway it was later re-sold on the websites accredited to distribute goods bearing the logo X Japan, because this poster has gained immense sentimental value while being the last group poster that is displaying TAIJI as bassist of the band.
As you know in the early 90s (93' actually ), TAIJI, this bass that made Japanese feel proud to have such a talented artist was kicked out of the band .
(as Toshi himself mentioned in multiple articles and interviews TAIJI had a huge potential and talent his skill was without a precedent in the Japanese Rock, to that extent, he would always correct and push harder toward perfection his band colleagues ) ...
this beautiful crazy of the Rock music had committed an unforgivable mistake toward the band, but especially toward Yoshiki, and even worse...toward, himself ... so that, Yoshiki, the X Japan co-founder of the band, the man behind the logo X ... had a very difficult decision to take ... to tear apart X , or...TO FIRE TAIJI ...
Heart-broken, hampered by doubts and anger mixed with sorrow, Yoshiki ... choose X in TAIJI's disadvantage ... After the concert where TAIJI was last time presented onstage as the bassist of X...
the two of them (Yoshiki and TAIJI ) parted in tears, leaving each other on separate ways ... if you have the curiosity to search on youtube ... you will notice that neither of them is feeling easy living with that decission...
but X is more important than everyone and everything, much more important...the legend has to continue ... Yoshiki never revealed why TAIJI was fired, just to keep unaltered in the fans memory the image of this titan of Japanese Rock music .
The truth is somewhere in Yoshiki's soul, and it still produces him pain ... in the documentary We Are X, I noticed sadness when he try to express those feelings inside him regarding TAIJI's firing . It felt like, Yoshiki kept trying to choose describing it with words that hurt him less ...
Thank you for taking so much interest in reading HIDE's blog :) , I am happy every time you comeback to read more :) it motivates me to show you another, and another beautiful dream...X!

Say Anything First Press Presentation Poster

As an over-talking about the same single which I presented to you in another post here is some extra information about the single Say Anything (GENERAL WARNING! if you find more than 1 post with same title content, doesn't mean I wrote same thing 2ce, but simple I remembered some other info I thought you should know so I create another post instead of altering the other one. Kindly understand that my mind is full of X info but in such chaos sometimes info does not stick in same place, :) have fun reading anyway! ) Now returning to Say Anything...it was
Produced by X and Co-Produced by Naoshi Tsuda, it was Mixed by Rich Breen released by Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) in 1991 ,Say Anything, is a single album containing 2 songs, Say Anything and Silent Jealousy. 2 beautiful Rock-Balads written by Yoshiki as most of X Japan works . The lyrics of those songs as we get used...have a deep meaning, they are blunt and violent depicting the nature of an artist soul, summarizing struggle, desire and illusions dust...Ps...that is the poster promoting the above mentioned single , was given as Special Bonus and is obviously very much treasured...I could say something about that body...but it feels as if...I'd talk porn about my dad...

Thanx for returning :) I was expecting you :) !
