On September 8th 1996
a documentary video of Chiba is made of HIDE by the event "MIX
LEMONed JELLY"
organizers which was held at the Marine Stadium.
"MIX LEMONed JELLY" is the new Brand of HIDE and the
documentary introduced to us the preparations at the venue for the
presentation of the new created line LEMONed .
The memory of that day
was recorded on the tape so that will stand as testimony of such
crucial event in HIDE's career even after many years ahead. December 24th 1997
LEMONed JELLY is out fo rsale. It came along with “Only limited”
10,000
secret packs ( containing special gifts) is was released as
HIDE's 2nd Christmas gift for fans. Launched under 2
package types ( RED PACKAGE and GREEN PACKAGE ) it contained a VHS
tape buried in the Styrofoam mass.
HIDE had once again managed to
make fans go to big trouble in open it but the best part was that the
video tape was well protected this way. Breaking out the Styrofoam
cover wasn't an easy job ( HIDE, you're such a naughty...keep
pranking with us, love ! :) )
but unless breaking the Styrofoam cover
in chunks the VHS couldn't be taken out...so... (laughs while
remembering)....it was a special hard pestering concern opening this
pack specially because not only the case
was from Styrofoam but both
of the sides of the VHS as well so giving a hard blow to the case
you'd risk tearing into pieces the tape contained...tough when the
tape was finally out...it did worth all trouble opening it, believe
me !
The contents of the
video tape, was shot under the pattern of all-night club events of
August 26, 1997 when "HIDE presents MIX LEMONed JELLY" had
been recorded. This 2nd video released has been limited sale only in
LEMONed SHOP of HIDE MUSEUM and presented same as the original
released in the RED and GREEN color only this time were out for sale
the DVD format in July 2003.
This is a ski mask
replica of the one used by HIDE in the show, it was also sold in
HIDE's MUSEUM.
I'll share with you few pictures from the content of the original tape still keept in a very good state in spite of constant moving from a continent to another in different countries.
