HIDE pin-ups


While HIDEKI performed in the first tour of his brand new solo career ,

he released on the marked for sale few commemorative items among which was and A4 pin-up holder containing 5 beautiful pin-up posters of HIDE.

Unfortunately today I can only show you 2 of them...constant moving from one country to another made me lost track of valuable things, sometimes I even gift my treasures to others,

bringing happiness in someone's soul is sometimes all it takes. Very well here there are the 2 survivor pin-ups, enjoy the view and promise to write you more, soon :) !

RE- I am sorry I've been missing for so long but I haven't got too much free time lately. Good news, I've found the missing pin-ups and now I'll share them with you.

In future a poster gallery with HIDEKI and X Japan will be gladly uploaded for HIDEKI's fans.

HIDE's famous Yellow Guitar reproduced on 1/6 scale


As you might already know, HIDEKI found it funky to paint himself and autograph some of his signature guitars. I do not know if he had a favorite because he loved all his guitars, at list so it seemed...

tough I can tell you which one is my favorite. I love the yellow one above the rest, I guess most of you share my likeness, so you understand why I was extremely excited when the miniature models were sold on the market, who wouldn't have dreamed about the collection of the 6 mini guitars belonging to HIDE ? Here it is my favorite, the Yellow guitar miniature model MG-3800, it comes with an 8 mm guitar pick on same Yellow color bearing HIDE's logo. The replica is very accurate and the finish is very good quality.

HIDE Choro Q toy buses

Remember I was telling you before in a previous post about the Tomica toy buses which used to give tours of HIDE Museum to all tourists visiting Yokosuka's pride attraction ?

well...the Choro Q toy buses are the 2nd edition of the Tomica buses, the miniature replica obviously :) .

As the public was very found of the Tomica toys and requested them over and over again, that LEMONed's management agreed that a 2nd edition of the toys will be a good investment too.

Obviously the fans loved them and proudly kept collecting the funky buses covered with HIDEKI's cartoons.

Here they are uploaded for you, don't you feel like playing a bit with them ? doesn't matter which gender you are, I know no one can resit to "take them for a spin" over the floor...

I certainly can'not, so what I'm 34 ? ahahhaha . Thank you for coming back to find out more about merchandise and precious memories left for us legacy , by HIDEKI . 

HIDE Memorial Pin Buttons

At the 2008 Memorial event for HIDEKI it was available among other goods ,

a tin with 5 different pin buttons which come out under the logo of "HIDE with Spread Beaver" ,

a fun way to commemorate HIDE's "prank" type spirit don't you think ? I find them really cute :)

but maybe that's just my impression. Here they are, for you to admire :) .

HIDE Children's aid SEVA


As I was mentioning to you before in another post, HIDEKI was kind-hearten and always willing to help those in need, so it comes that seeking out for a way to comfort the children which have severe health problems HIDEKI organised several charity actions including giving shows for free or collecting money trough fund raise which will be later on donated for the research of cures for various diseases...

sounds wonderful isn't it ? well...that's how HIDEKI truly was beneath the label others have branded him with as "alcoholic" and "junky" drug addict. Sometimes we need to quit being so superficial and look deep in someone's soul surfacing the good and the quality within, because blaming all its defects it will only define how low class judgement we really are.

HIDEKI wasn't an angel or a demon, within him the good and evil doweled till the end, he was the one walking in darkness to spread the light of music into the world. Don't believe me, just watch twitter! it is there where we keep his spirit...ALIVE ! and this is almost 20 years after his departure from among us, he couldn't be that rotten if his music still flows in our veins... 

HIDE Pins


While HIDE Museum was still opened , they used to sell in the LEMONed shop some pins with HIDE,

very trendy and lovable I think they'd look very cool on your jeans jacket or on your concert bag ,

good luck in trying to trace them down it will be a little hard because the Museum not only that was closed but in 2005 was completely obliterated ,

however nothing is impossible now days, you could simply search for them on Yahoo Japan auctions,

you'd always find something to buy there, mostly at reasonable prices. Let us now however return to the pins

which were in total 8 different tipes when they were released for the public at the original LEMONed shop

from the HIDE Museum which once shade the beach of Yokosuka, HIDEKI's home town.

HIDE PHANTOM BADGE ( Pin Buttons)

Once with the TRIBAL Ja Zoo Tour, among the merchandise items there was a small box with pin buttons,

the PHANTOM Badges were very popular and people trade and collect them all , there were created 10 different type

of badges but in each box you could find only 3 of them randomly placed,

so you can understand why everyone was eager to complete the collection

by trading the ones coming more than one the same with others which they haven't got yet.

HIDE mobile strap with mini figure


Do you remember when I told you in a previous post about the 2 TRIBAL figures of HIDE released once with the CD during the Ja Zoo Tour ?

Well...it was then, in 1998 same time period when another goods were featured on the market all over the country.

You've guessed, the goods I'm talking about are the phone straps with mini figures the "Uni -Five" ,

HIDE with Spread Beaver figures were sold in a bulk and the looked like this...cute isn't it ?

HIDE Tribal Ja Zoo  Replica Figures

In 1998 during the Ja Zoo Tour , once with the CD releasing on the market, there were created 2 figurine dolls sold as " Tribal HIDE Figure "

, 2 replicas wearing the Ja Zoo outfits and hat. Although I didn't liked them as much as I love the PSYENCE figurine, I must admit that they had a great success to the public

too,maybe because they were very popular and accessible everywhere was a CD stand or a musical rack all over the country. You can admire here all 3 of them, the TRIBAL figures and the PSYENCE one ( which again I must say tough I know I repeat myself...is my favorite)

as you can see it by yourself the 10 years gap between the TRIBAL and the PSYENCE editions it does say a lot, as the technology evolved , the more realistic representation emerged. I will say nothing more,

but I will allow you to judge the facts and chose your favorite, thank you for returning to read HIDE's page posts this artist like many others before him does not deserve our ignorance, he lived and died for music,

he create where others semen destruction, he left us hope where we thought there's nothing existing anymore. Let us celebrate his achievements, his life, his spirit, death is nut the end but the beginning of a new level...just like in a virtual game. Are you ready to win this one ?

HIDE miniature figure


Dearest fans of HIDE , I apologies for being away for a while.

For all of you who are eager to know more about HIDE, you're in the right place, same is for all those who are simply curious what's those post are about.

I will start the series of posts of today with a very special miniature figure of HIDE which used to be sold on the "Enthusiasm.net" site , not so long ago.

The figure representing HIDE in his PSYENCE outfit is a very realistic reproduction of HIDEKI's real appearance so you could understand why this is so dear to me and why it has a special place in my heart .

Unfortunately the "Enthusiasm.net" site was closed down and reopened for a while under the name of " Addicted.net" , the HIDE's figurine was very popular and completely sold out

shortly before the termination of the site which was hosting the sale. Here it is my HIDEKI figurine wearing the PSYENCE outfit, in all it's splendor, please enjoy :) !
